Richmond Training Academy Ltd are proud to announce that we are working in partnership with Starcare Ltd in the creation of 23 jobs in Health and Social Care for young people through the Kickstart Scheme.

The Kickstart Scheme is a government backed initiative and is all about creating meaningful job opportunities for young people at risk of long-term unemployment, this age group in particular has been impacted by the corona virus pandemic. The scheme will initially prioritise young people aged between 16 and 24 who are claiming Universal Credit, each participant will be supported by their Jobcentre Plus work coach to enrol in the scheme.

Richmond Training Academy will support participants to develop the skills and tools needed to become closer to the job market by providing employability training and skills with an integrated introduction into Health and Social Care. The program includes but is not limited to employability skills, dealing with your first days at work, making the right impression at work and the role of a carer.

Each Kick Start applicant will attend this training session prior to attending interviews for a role at Starcare Ltd.

Each successful participant will then be enrolled on to an apprenticeship with Richmond Training Academy Ltd.
